Summary: Chiefly studio portraits of Lee family. Most photographs are of children of the Moss family, Ronstadt family, and the Brady family with one image of children at an unidentified wooden schoolhouse. There is one image each (as adults) of James Lee, Fred Ronstadt, Emilia Ronstadt Zepeda, and Richard Ronstadt, a tintype of Paulina Ramirez Holt. The collection includes cabinet cards, cartes-de-visite, and one tintype; some images were taken by photographers Henry Buehman and Fred Feldman.

Biographical note: Photographer; Henry Buehman was born in Bremen, Germany, the son of Ludwig and Annie Buehman, on May 14, 1851. In 1868, with three years of photographic experience under his belt, Henry emigrated to the United States. He first went to New York, then to California.
